Town and Country Training

Rural ministry training for students, pastors, and anyone the Lord leads into rural ministry.

What is TACT?

TACT (Town and Country Training) provides accredited training for rural ministry. These in-depth courses are designed to strengthen the skills of rural church leaders and prepare new leaders to better understand their rural context.

2026 TACT Classes

TACT classes are offered as multi-week online courses that combine live weekly sessions with on-demand learning. Students engage in live video lectures and interviews with rural ministry practitioners, along with recorded lectures they can watch on their own schedule.

Classes can be taken for credit or audited. The course workload is significantly reduced for students who are auditing. Students taking TACT for credit should register with both their school and RHMA.
